Supported by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Rural Development Action Aid Continues to empower women in different ways. Many women actually have very good leadership skills but given the dominance of their male counter-parts, they find it very difficult to ascend into the leadership positions of their abilities

This week RDAA with funding from UNDP in partnership with UNPEACEBUILDIG Fund will be conducting a four days workshop on Strengthening Women’s Participation in Leadership at all levels in the country This is to ensure that the 35% affirmative action enshrined in South Sudan’s transitional constitution is fully represented.

Objectives of the Activity

  • Learning how to handle or publish stories on the media
  • Learning how to defuse tension during a talksho
  • Learning how to differentiate who’s identity to show and whose to protect
  • Learning to know how to pass a message in a SMART way
  • Learning which media and language to use where
  • Learning who to involve when passing a message
