Supported by the government of Germany through UNFPA and International Trade Center Rural Development Action Aid Successfully received funding to support 150 survivors of conflict related sexual violence (50 each) in Yambio (Western Equatoria State), Bor (Jonglei State) and Bentiu (Unity State) in the republic of South Sudan. The pictures here bring you high lights of Project launch which consisted of donor representatives, stakeholders from the government, representatives from the security forces and the RDAA staff (project implementers). During the launch, the project was title was introduced as ” Building Socio-Economic Resilience for Survivors of Conflict-Related Sexual Violence (CRSV).” during the launch CRSV was clearly define to the audience, where and when it occurs, who the perpetrators are, who the main victims are, its effects and how it can be possibly prevented. It is in this project launch that the donors and stakeholders campaigned CRSV and pledged to support survivors of CRSV. Partners in this project include; United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), International Trade Centre (ITC), AMREF Health Africa, Rural Development Action Aid (RDAA), Women Agency for Resilience and Transformation (WART), African Initiatives for Relief and Development (AIRD), South Sudan Survivors’ Network (SUNS), Center for Inclusive Governance, Peace and Justice (CIGPJ) |
