Project Title:  A Quick Impact project for the Construction of Yubu Bridge

Activity: Casting of the Bridge Deck and Pillars

Location: Yambio County, Western Equatoria State

No of beneficiaries: Over 400,000 People

Period: 6 months(2022 – 2023)

Brief Story Write up

After all the metal work is perfectly done and laid out, then comes the wood work and concrete work which results unto the bridges people always see and move on. This activity took place way before the day the pictures above and below were taken, I just thought I should bring you the step by step project implementation for purposes of accountability.

Objectives of the Activity

  1. To bring out the actual picture of the bridge the lay people see
  2. To make sure that the shape, and size of the bridge is as planned
  3. To make sure that the material used can with stand the weight that will be moving on the  bridge.

Expected Results

 

  1. A bridge that can withstand the weight if 10tonnes
  2. A bridge that can withstand over Flooding
  3. A structure that every body can have confidence in
