Project Title:  A Quick Impact project for the Construction of a three class room block and a staff room

Location: Tambura County, Western Equatoria State, South Sudan

No of beneficiaries: 450 pupils (235 Boys and 215  Girls)

Period: 6months (2023)

Partner: UNMISS

Brief Story Write up

As captured in the project proposal, after the project is successfully completed, it is supposed to be handed over to the donor, who then hands it over to the stakeholders and the school administration. By stake holders we mean state, county or national government officials responsible for a particular department.

So on this day 12th July 2023, RDAA handed over a three classroom block and a staff room constructed with funding from United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) at Nanzaga primary school to the project donor.

Objectives of the Activity

  1. To improve learning environment for the pupils and teachers
  2. To stimulate the increase in enrollment of pupils
  3. To lay a strong foundation for the pupils starting at the grass root.
  4. To give the young generation a chance for a brighter future

Expected Results

 

  1. Increased enrolment
  2. Improved academic performance of pupils
  3. Provision of employment opportunities to the teachers and other none teaching staff
  4. Improvement of the learning environment
  5. Build intellectual for the future of South Sudan
  6. Transformation of the communities mind-set in regards to development and peaceful co-existence
